Quayside Shopping Centre has been honored with Business All-star accreditation for the second year in a row!

The Sligo based business was accredited the coveted All-Ireland Business All-Star accreditation and was named All Ireland All-Star Shopping Centre of the Year at a virtual ceremony held on 30th September by AIBF, The All Ireland Business Foundation!
As one of the leading retail destinations in the North West, Quayside Shopping Centre, is ideally located in the heart of Sligo Town.
Opened in 2005, Quayside Shopping Centre offers 400 customer car parking spaces and 130,000 Sq.ft of retail space spread over four trading levels. In total the centre boasts 43 Retail Units, 12 Office Suites and 89 Residential units.

The audit process that led to the accreditation really stretched us and it gave us a good opportunity to reflect on who we are. Through the process, we also received valuable feedback about our operations as a whole.’’

In the retail industry, you rarely get a thank you and everyone here has been working so hard through COVID-19. To us, this accreditation is someone saying thank you which we appreciate so much.’’
This is an independently verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria.
The accreditation is overseen by the prestigious All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudication panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.
Dr Hynes said the accreditation, which is now held by over 350 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards but have nothing to measure them by.
“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworthiness and performance, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors,” she said.
“We also anonymously approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience.
“The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics.”
The All-Ireland Business Foundation is responsible for overseeing the All-Ireland Business Summit and All-Star awards, ongoing All-Star accreditation, Thought Leader awards and promoting peer dialogue among members.
