Valentine’s Day is only a couple of weeks away so naturally we’re using it as an excuse to buy an entirely new wardrobe. Whether you’re happily single and looking forward to Galentine’s drinks with the girls or being treated to a swanky dinner with the hubby, here are NEXT’S top 4 date night outfits…

Seeing as Valentine’s falls on hump day this year (take that as you wish), we’ve devised the perfect office-to-out ensemble. No-one needs the Spanish Inquisition at 9am as they arrive at work in a gorgeous but-not-9-5-appropriate date night outfit. So opt for something understated but easily elevated – cue our cream wrap-around knit (with a cami underneath as you might boil up at your desk) and khaki capri trousers.
